Admiring Åstol again

After a day of looking around Gothenburg, including a trip to the chandlery on the tram, we decided to head back north again. The wind has remained resolutely in the north and we want to go north, so we knew we would be motoring a lot of the way. However, with some sunshine (and a deck house to shelter in!), it wasn’t too bad. The route took us back through the Albrektssunds Canal, past Marstrand and from there on to Åstol.

We had arranged to meet Bob & Fiona from Hekla on Åstol and as we went past Marstrand they were still there. In fact they were just getting back from a walk and managed to grab a quick photo of us as we headed past.

A short time later we were moored once again at Åstol harbour on the south jetty. Hekla came along later and we had a lovely supper together.
